This year I can celebrate Mother's day!!! Or can I? He's in my tummy...yeah, I can! With this honor comes the demand for cool gifts. And for me, well, I want tech! Here are some of the gift ideas for all of you out there. And if you saw me on your morning news, welcome. Enjoy the post and look for more here as well as my other site, HiTechMommy.com.

A digital camera is a great gift, but by now, many mothers already have them.  So they’re busy trying to figure out what to do with all those pictures.  I recommend looking into some of the new technology that makes putting that family photo album together easier than ever.  This all-inclusive kit, called the Epson StoryTeller, contains everything you need to transform digital photos into a beautiful, hard bound photo book that you print with a regular size printer and assemble yourself at home!   The kits come with glossy pages in either 5x7 or 8x10, and include a glossy book cover, and easy-to-use software to add text & graphics.  To assemble the pages, no cutting, gluing or cropping is needed. You’ll end up with a quality book that would do any bookshelf or coffee table proud!

And if you want more ways to show off those family photos, videos or even slide shows – projectors are the way to go.  I want one SOOO bad... (and so does my husband) Here is a sneak peak of one that is getting released May 10th.  The Dell 2400MP projector weighs about 5 pounds so you can simply take it with you to grandma’s house or on vacation.  It is easy to hook up to a laptop to show off your home videos or photos on any wall indoor or outdoors.  This thing is really fun to use for movie night as well. As soon as we get one we're going to set it up in the backyard and project flix on our back window for our friends on hot those hot summer nights! Oh Boy!

Now let's talk TVs. If you want to watch your memories or favorite movies in HD – there are new TVs with auto HD tuning built right in – like 26 inch (W2607C) LCD TV by Dell.  This is the perfect size for the family room, bedroom and even fits nicely in the kitchen!  To tell you the truth, I may even use this bad boy as a computer monitor when I'm working on special projects. Yup, it's that universal. The thin design saves valuable space and the TV can also be mounted to a wall.   Also features surround-sound audio so you can really rock out! The other great thing, this TV is competitively priced under $1100.  For more information visit www.dell.com

How about more time?  Nineteen percent of men report doing housework--such as cleaning or doing laundry--compared with 54 percent of women according to The Bureau of Labor Statistics.   The SteamWasher from LG Electronics is first washing machine to ACTUALLY STEAM your clothes so you don't have to iron them!! It also uses less water and saves energy. This washer is amazingly big, featuring the largest capacity drum in the industry, 16 pairs of jeans or 24 bath towels so she can get more done at one time.  Oh word. It also has one of the fastest spin speeds, while still offering a quiet operation ranging from $1,499 (white) to $1,599 (midnight blue)
